The Santa Fe College Foundation next week will host a fundraising event billed as "a celebration of the Cuban soul" to benefit student scholarships.
"Havana Nights" takes place 6-10 p.m. Aug. 1 inside SF College's Fine Arts Hall, 3000 NW 83rd St.
Tickets cost $100 a person and include a yearlong membership in the SF College Arts Patron program at the "lecturer" level. Seating for the event is limited.
The work of Cuban artists will be on display during the fundraiser, and patrons will be able to buy photos of Cuba, the proceeds from which will also benefit student scholarships.
For more information or to buy tickets to the fundraiser, call SF College Cultural Affairs Coordinator Kathryn Lehman at 395-5355.
For more information about the SF College Foundation and scholarship programs, call Assistant Vice President for Development Michael Curry at 395-5200.
