No. 5 T.J. Yeldon

School: Alabama

Year: Junior

Position: Running back

Height: 6-foot-2

Weight: 220 pounds

Why he's No. 5: Yeldon has been almost overshadowed because of Derrick Henry's big performance against Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. We'll take two full seasons over one game when it comes to this list.

Yeldon has been a consistent ground gainer in his first two years for the Tide, the latest in a long line of running backs who seem ready-made for the NFL.

As a freshman, Yeldon gained 1,108 yards and scored 12 touchdowns. As a sophomore, he went for 1,235 yards and 14 touchdowns despite missing a game.

How's this three-game stretch last year vs. LSU, Mississippi State and Auburn — 434 yards on 67 carries? That's an average of 6.5 yards a carry in three big games.

Yeldon is also a weapon in the screen game and had 31 catches in his first two seasons. He has also picked up the protection calls for Alabama and is an effective blocker.

It will be interesting to see how Lane Kiffin uses Yeldon this season. If he doesn't mess it up, Yeldon could be in the Heisman picture at the end of the season.
