Florida’s new Fan Advisory Council is now in place. The University Athletic Association announced Wednesday the 13 members who make up the council and represent a variety of fan groups.

The FAC will work in conjunction with the UAA to enhance the overall game-day experience at Florida football games.

The members of the council are a cross section of season ticket holders. They will meet for the first time in early August.

The council consists of:

*Two current students.

*One recent graduate.

*Four from the Orange & Blue or Booster level, including Pete Calamore from Gainesville.

*Four from the Varsity Club, Fighting Gator, Scholarship Partner, Scholarship Club or Grand Gator levels.

*Two Bull Gators.

The council will address fan issues and assist the UAA in coming up with solutions and ideas on how to make the game-day experience better for the fans.

The UAA has already implemented upgrades to the stadium's direct antennae system and improved cellular call capability to increase connectivity.
