Donovan-led U.S. team takes gold medal at FIBA Americas

For the third straight year, Florida coach Billy Donovan has guided a team to a gold medal in international competition.

Donovan guided Team USA to a 113-79 win over Canada in the FIBA Americas 18-under championship game on Tuesday night in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Donovan improved to 19-0 in international competition. Last year, Donovan led Team USA to a gold medal in the FIBA 19-under world championships. Two years ago, Donovan led Team USA to the 18-under title in the FIBA Americas Tournament in Brazil.
