School: Alabama

Year: Sophomore

Position: Tight end

Height: 6-foot-6

Weight: 238 pounds

Why he's No. 25: It may seem a reach to put a player in the top 25 of America's best conference who has only 14 career catches, but if you saw Howard running away from LSU defensive backs in last season's game, you can understand.

Howard is a freakish athlete who is only going to get better with Lane Kiffin calling the plays. Kiffin will use the tight end more, and Howard was eased into playing time last year.

But the sophomore runs a 4.49 in the 40 and can climb the air to find the ball. He caught his 14 passes last year in a limited role, but those passes were good for 269 yards of offense or 19.2 yards per play.

He also had two scores and is expected to make a major jump in production if Jacob Coker is as good as his former coach says he is.
