We love stuff. Hoarding may be a little too strong a word, but today it's easy to accumulate clothes, technology and other thingamajigs we think we need.
When it comes to your summer travel plans, throwing your whole closet into a suitcase not only doesn't work, but also is impractical. Packing is an art, and without following guidelines and well-practiced techniques, you're heading toward an over-packing disaster.
Although we'd rather not hear it, planes have a bag weight limit, cruise cabins are unbelievably tight and, realistically, vacations don't last a lifetime. Susan Boate, the former travel manager at the AAA Gainesville branch, shares some of the most important – and shockingly painless – tips to consider when making light a must — even if it doesn't come naturally.
