UF football opener vs. Idaho: 7 p.m. kickoff

Florida will kick off its football season on the night of Aug. 30, with the 7 p.m. game televised on ESPNU, the network announced.

The Gators now have four game times set, including two night games in the first three weeks of the season. Florida will host Eastern Michigan at 4 p.m. on Sept. 6, and then open SEC action with a night game against Kentucky at 7:30 p.m. Both the EMU and UK games will air on the new SEC Network.

The annual Florida-Georgia game in Jacksonville will be on CBS for the 12th straight year at 3:30 p.m.
