I normally don’t like to feature tribute bands, but in the case of the Shoddy Beatles, I feel I must. The four hardworking gentlemen that comprise this surprisingly accurate cover band might be the best musicians working together in all of Gainesville.

It is evident that singers Collin Whitlock and Travis Atria really do love and are inspired by the music of The Beatles and have a blast playing their songs. Bassist Eric Atria and drummer Chris Alfonso Hillman not only do their respective parts justice, they embellish in all the right ways. If you’re not claustrophobic (their shows can be quite crowded) and also love The Beatles, you’d be silly to miss their show.

Go see them for an extra-long performance at High Dive on Friday, starting at 9 p.m.
