The No. 3/5 Florida softball team returns home after a three-game road series to host rival South Florida today at 6 p.m. at Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium.

Winners of nine straight, the Gators swept Southeastern Conference foe Texas A&M in a trio of games over the weekend and outscored the Aggies, 30-5.

Senior third baseman Stephanie Tofft was named NFCA National Player of the Week and SEC Player of the Week after she batted .700 with six runs scored, one double, three home runs and 10 RBIs in UF's sweep of Texas A&M.

Florida (40-8) enters its midweek test with an 8-2 mark against the visiting Bulls (33-13) since 2011. The Gators own a 6-1 record this season vs. in-state teams.
