ORLANDO — Florida confirmed Wednesday that freshman point guard Kasey Hill will be a game-time decision for Thursday's NCAA tournament opener due to a turf toe injury.

Hill took part in Wednesday’s open practice and didn’t have a noticeable limp. The former McDonald’s All-American from Umatilla, a suburb of Orlando, is averaging 5.5 points and 3.1 assists this season.

Hill has missed four games in late November-early December with a high ankle sprain and three more games in February with a groin strain.

The top-seeded Gators take on 16th-seeded Albany at 4:10 p.m. on Thursday.
