Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jameis Winston and his Florida State teammates will again take on the Florida Gators in Gainesville today. But this time, it is the sport of baseball that will be played.

The game, the first of the teams' three regular-season meetings, is set for a 7 p.m. start at McKethan Stadium and will be televised on Sun Sports.

No. 2 FSU (17-2) is riding a six-game winning streak. Winston, the Baseball America Preseason All-American third-teamer who was selected by Texas in the 15th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft, is a relief pitcher/outfielder. He leads FSU with three saves and has an 0.84 earned-run average in 10 2/3 innings of work. He has struck out 13 and allowed five hits. In just 16 at-bats he is hitting .188. He led the Seminoles to a 37-7 win over the Gators at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium last November en route to winning the national championship.

The Gators (13-7) had their season-high seven-game winning streak come to an end Sunday in a 9-3 loss to Arkansas.
