The Mix changes name from KC Crave

KC Crave — at 3501 SW 2nd Ave., Suite A — changed its name to The Mix on Feb. 26.

The switch comes after a name conflict with the Crave restaurant chain, which is based out of Minneapolis and has Florida locations in Orlando and Coral Gables.

With another location in Jacksonville Beach, The Mix opened in Gainesville in May 2013.

Library at Market Street for lease

The Library at Market Street will remain open until a new tenant for the downtown space can be found.

“(The current tenant) is willing to leave as soon as we find a new tenant,” said Stathe Karahalios of Nautilus Realty. “The Library is still in operation. They're still a going business.”

Located at 112 SW First Ave. next to Loosey's, the business opened in late 2012. Karahalios said anyone interested in leasing the space could move in immediately.

Hiro for lease

Hiro Asian Sandwich Bistro, which opened in late 2012, also is continuing to welcome customers until someone else leases the space and moves in.

Jurel Serrana, manager at the Bento Group, said the restaurant's equipment is for sale.

“We've asked the Realtor to look into buyers,” he said. “So if we have any buyers, we will be closing.”

Front Street Commercial Real Estate Group is handling leasing for the space at 3841 SW Archer Road, Suite B.

Rising Roll to open at UF

Rising Roll Gourmet, a sandwich chain based in Atlanta, is planning to open in Heavener Hall, the University of Florida's new undergraduate business school being built at the corner of Northwest 13th Street and University Avenue.

Construction on Heavener is scheduled to end in September, with classes beginning in the Spring 2015 semester.

With locations mainly in Georgia and Texas, Rising Roll also has a restaurant at Florida State University.
