Former Florida and current Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Deonte Thompson was arrested in Gainesville on Friday night and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Thompson was a passenger in an SUV that was pulled over for driving without its headlights on, according to police, who found 29 grams of marijuana in the vehicle.

Thompson, who played at UF from 2008-11, told police the marijuana was not his. The driver and another passenger said it was theirs, according to police. Alvon Jesse Summerall and Erskine James McKinley also were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
