Williston High has named Cliff Lohrey, a former strength and conditioning coach at Oregon under Chip Kelly, as its new football coach.
Lohrey started at Williston on Tuesday. He worked at Oregon during the 2012-13 seasons.
Prior to that, he had spent seven seasons at Brooksville Central, three years as an assistant and four years (2006-2009) as head coach, going 19-22 in those four seasons.
His best season with the Bears came in 2006 when he led them to a district title and 8-3 record.
