Q: What did you learn from sitting out over the summer for disciplinary reasons?

A: As I've been saying, just how much of an opportunity it is and just what it means to be playing at this level here at Florida with the great coaching staff and great teammates. I've learned to value that more.

Q: How has it changed your behavior off the court?

A: You can say that it has. I'm trying to make sure I do the right things and put myself in a position to keep doing what I love doing.

Q: Are you more vocal now that you're a senior?

A: As a point guard, that's kind of the position you're put into and I think I've done a better job and a good job of being vocal on the court and trying to convey what coach (Florida coach Billy Donovan) wants at the position on the court. It's talking to my teammates and encouraging them and trying to get them on the right track.

Q: Some guys aren't comfortable being leaders. Are you comfortable with it?

A: I think I'm comfortable with it. That's been my position ever since high school. Last year and this year has kind of been the first opportunity to step into more of that role — more so this year — but honestly I'm pretty comfortable with it.

Q: What has it been like playing off the ball during some stretches and letting freshman Kasey Hill run the point?

A: It's not the first time I've had to do it. I did it with KB (Kenny Boynton) sometimes last year. I like doing it with Kasey. He's a good point guard. I like letting him bring it up sometimes. It gives me some rest and allows me to get some opportunities off the ball. I'm comfortable with it.
