At Palos Verdes, Calif., junior transfer Sarah Schober shot three solid rounds and finished the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at 2-over (72-68-75-215), tied for third individually, as the Florida women's golf team placed 14th.
Senior Elcin Ulu led the Gators in the final round, carding a 76. Ulu shot a 20-over (233) for the tournament, a notable four-stroke improvement from her 2013 trip to Palos Verdes.
No. 1 Southern Cal proved true to their top rank and took home the victory with a final score of 866 (+14), seven strokes ahead of second-place finisher Duke.
