Florida will look to get back to its winning ways against a Bulldogs team that started 0-4 in the SEC for the first time in program history. Georgia defeated Arkansas, 60-58, on Thursday for their first league win.
Sophomore guard Shacobia Barbee leads UGA in scoring at 12.3 points per game. Three Gators are averaging double-figure scoring efforts, including Jaterra Bonds (16.7 ppg), January Miller (11.5 ppg) and Cassie Peoples (11.5 ppg).
Kayla Lewis posted 15 points and a career-high 17 rebounds last Sunday, but Florida couldn’t overcome a poor first half in a 82-68 loss at LSU.
