Florida senior forward Casey Prather will miss his second straight game with a bone bruise in his knee.

Florida coach Billy Donovan announced Monday that Prather, UF’s leading scorer at 17 points per game, will not play Tuesday night when the Gators (13-2, 2-0 SEC) host Georgia (8-6, 2-0 SEC).

“He still has issues,” Donovan said. “He’s getting better. He’s progressing. When he’ll be available to play, I don’t know but he’s out (against Georgia).”

Florida moved up three spots to No. 7 in this week’s Associated Press poll. The Gators have won seven straight and snapped Arkansas’ 23-game home win streak with an 84-82 overtime win at Bud Walton Arena on Saturday.

Sophomore forward Dorian Finney-Smith, who scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds against Arkansas, is expected to start in place of Prather against Georgia.

Florida will be going for its school-record 25th straight home win against the Bulldogs. Tipoff is 7 p.m. at the O’Connell Center and the game will air on ESPNU.
