Hi Moms,

Well, at least we have gotten a small reprieve from the hot Florida weather. But it looks like the temperatures are already on the rise. Nonetheless, it is still the holiday season, shorts and all. Do you have any special holiday traditions that you and your family look forward to each year? Do you always make a gingerbread house, look at Christmas lights or make a special cookie recipe?

Sweets are a big part of the holidays. It seems like here are tasty foods everywhere I turn lately! Do you have any tips or tricks for staying away from all the sweets? Do you splurge a bit during the holidays?

Many people often try to give back this time of year. Do you plan to donate toys, food or your time this holiday season? Do you involve your children?

Gainesville has so much to offer, from great events to Christmas lights galore! If you are looking for something to do with your family, check out Kathy's post about all the local activities happening in December!

Have a great weekend,
