A pickup truck driver rear-ended a Levy County school bus Wednesday afternoon but no one was injured, reported the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 3:20 p.m. on Levy County Road 347. Joseph Agnoli, 33, of Chiefland, was westbound in a 1985 Toyota pickup behind the bus driven by Carlynn Griffin, 49, of Chiefland, FHP reported in a press release.

Griffin stopped at the intersection with County Road 345. Agnoli also stopped but believed Griffin was moving forward, so he moved forward and hit the rear of the bus.

FHP said nine students were on board, but no one was injured.
