The Alachua County Library District is hosting seasonal guests and programs for children of all ages. Here is a sampling of craft activities, music lessons, puppet shows, gaming competitions and more available at local libraries. ■ Teen Guitar Lessons: Sign up for guitar lessons offered by library staff. No instruments or materials necessary, 4 p.m. Thursday. Call 481-1920.

■ Minecraft Madness in the Teen Space: Build constructions in a 3-D-generated world with an unlimited supply of resources and the ability to fly, 4 p.m. Thursday.

■ Read to a Dog: Children 5 to 11 read to Nalia the retired seeing-eye dog who loves books and a good belly rub, 3 p.m. Wednesday.
