Showers and fog headed to area this week

Temperatures will drop as some showers move through the area mid-week. Slight chances of rain will stick around through the weekend.

Dense fog will roll into the region on Monday, persisting into Monday night. Temperatures will range from 82 to 62 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Jacksonville.

Showers are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, with chances elevating to 30 percent on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Temperatures will continue to drop a few degrees each day, reaching a 50-degree low by Thursday night.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers at night.

Slight rain chances will continue into the weekend. Temperatures will begin to rise after Thursday, with highs in the mid-70’s and lows reaching the high-60s by the weekend.
