Florida’s Casey Prather and Mississippi State’s Craig Sword were named co-SEC Players of the Week.

Prather, a 6-foot-6, 212-pound senior forward from Jackson, Tenn., averaged 23 points and 4.5 rebounds in leading the Gators to wins over Jacksonville and Florida State. He made 73.9 percent (17-of-13) of his field goals for the week, including an 11-of-13 effort against JU.

Sword, a 6-foot-3, 194-pound sophomore guard from Montgomery, Ala., averaged 18 points and five rebounds in wins over Jackson State and Loyola (Ill.). Sword made what proved to be game-winning baskets in both games and put up a season-high 24 points against the Ramblers, one point shy of tying his career-high.
