Clouds, some rain to linger in region during the week

Clouds will hang over the region this week, with some storms expected on Monday and next weekend. Temperatures will hang in the low 50s throughout the week, according to the National Weather Service in Jacksonville.

A 60 percent chance of rain is predicted Monday, with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from the low 80s to the low 50s Monday night.

The sun will come out Tuesday morning. Partly cloudy skies will follow in the afternoon. Highs will hit the lower 70s and fall to the upper 40s Tuesday night.

Partly cloudy conditions will remain Wednesday through Friday. High temperatures are expected to elevate to the low 70s, with lows in the low 50s.

Friday night and Saturday will be partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers.

Clouds will continue over the weekend. Temperatures will range from the low 50s to the upper 60s.
