First half: Another new look for the offensive line wasn't a good look as Florida struggled to block on running plays. Tyler Murphy's internal clock must have been broken.
Second half: Florida had a nice drive to get back into the game and another once the Commodores were way ahead. But don't let the yardage fool you.
For the game: The four turnovers were the difference in the game. They gave the Commodores short fields time and time again.
First half: Vanderbilt can't run the ball, at least according to the previous eight games, but did so against Florida. The Gators with another bad start.
Second half: When Florida had to have a stop, the Gators instead gave up a long touchdown drive. That's a recurring theme.
For the game: While the defense didn't give up a lot of yards, they gave them up at bad times. The defense was awful in the red zone.
Special teams F
First half: A missed field goal and three awful penalties on kick returns contributed to a terrible first half for the Gators.
Second half: Solomon Patton almost broke a kickoff return. And again the Gators had a chance to punt inside the 10 only to see it land in the end zone.
For the game: Not a great day for the special teams and we didn't mention Marcus Roberson muffing an early punt. OK, now, we did.
Florida looked like a team that didn't care Saturday. It wasn't like Vandy had to play over its head to win this one. All it had to do was not mess up. That's bad, especially at home.
