First half: Other than the deep ball to Quinton Dunbar, the first quarter was a disaster and the second quarter more of the same that we have become used to this season.
Second half: Florida finally got its offense going thanks in part to a huge Georgia mistake, but couldn't get points out of its final drive.
For the game: Florida ended up with a respectable 319 yards after a miserable first half and had a chance at the end.
First half: Remember when we were wondering if this defense might be better than last year's? The Gators were gutted in the run game and had no clue against the pass.
Second half: Florida stuffed the Bulldogs in the third quarter and added a safety. But when the Gators had to have a stop, they failed miserably.
For the game: One thing Will Muschamp has to work on is the way the Gators are starting games. For the last month, it has been terrible and put them in a hole.
Special teams C-
First half: Blatant block in back by Brian Poole on kickoff return got Gators off to a bad start; Solomon Patton nearly broke another kickoff return.
Second half: When your long-yardage field goal kicker is short on a 47-yard attempt, you've got problems.
For the game: Georgia won the game with three field goals to Florida's one. That's the bottom line.
This team continues to be inconsistent in every facet of the game and now faces an uphill battle to finish the season above .500.
