A Gainesville man has been arrested after deputies say he flashed a teacher and a 13-year-old student early Thursday morning.
The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office said Nicholas Bacallao, 27, of 1802 SE 64th Way, was walking near Passage Christian Academy on East University Avenue at 8:40 a.m. when he trespassed on school property.
Officials said Bacallao began to bang on a metal sign outside the school and began cursing violently at the staff and students. He was confronted by a teacher, who told him to leave the property, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
A 13-year-old male student was behind the teacher who confronted Bacallao, deputies said.
Bacallao continued to curse at the teacher and student and then began to walk away, appearing to leave the area, the report said.
Then, deputies said, Bacallao turned back toward the teacher and student and pulled down his pants, exposing his buttocks. Pants still down, Bacallao turned around and exposed his genitals, the report said.
He fled the area on foot but later was found by deputies around 11 a.m. He refused to tell officials his name and began cursing at them, the report said.
Bacallao was charged with obstruction without violence, indecent exposure, trespassing on school grounds and lewd and lascivious behavior, according to the report. He was being held Friday at the Alachua County jail in lieu of $22,000 bond.
