Day of Action transforms Bishop grounds

Volunteers for the United Way of North Central Florida 2013 Day of Action were busy tackling beautification and landscaping projects Friday at some Alachua County schools, including caulking windows and doors and cleaning and landscaping the grounds at Howard Bishop Middle School.

Volunteers conducted similar projects at Duval, Williams and Terwilliger elementary schools; Lincoln Middle; Sidney Lanier Center; Gainesville High School and High Springs Community School.
