Dance conference

Upper Room Church of God in Christ will host its Dance Conference 2013.

It will be held Saturday, with a workshop from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and a worship service at 6:30 p.m., both at the church at 3575 NE 15th St. The theme will be "Dance Into Your Destiny."

Registration is $10 for individuals and $25 for groups in advance at www.urwelcomehere.org or at the door. All churches, community/civic dance groups and individual praise and mime dancers are invited.

Pastor appreciation

Miracle Word of Faith Ministry will end its 16th year appreciation service for its leaders, Apostle Dr. Donald Kelly and Pastor Dr. Queen Horne-Kelly.

It will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the church at 3809-A E. University Ave.

The service will feature Pastor Prophet Willie Jones Sr. and co-Pastor Sharon Jones of First Assembly of Faith Fellowship Church in Trenton, Prophet West Malone and Evangelist Shirley Malone of Tongues of Fire Ministries in Gainesville, praise and worship groups and praise dancers.

Family Night

Greater Love & Faith Ministries will host Family Night.

It will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church at 902 SE 10th Terrace.

Tickets are five for $1 in advance and 4 for $1 at the event, which will feature a bounce house, sack race, fried chicken wings, fries and garlic crab trays.

Revival

New Mount Zion Holiness Church will host a revival.

Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Sunday at the church at 680 NE 23rd Ave., Suite B. The theme will be "Come Expecting a Miracle."

The speaker will be Evangelist J.M. Odol of Little Rock, Ark.

Praise service

New Macedonia Baptist Church will host a praise event.

It will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at the church at 1414 NE 23rd Ave.

The speaker will be Pastor Nyron Jenkins of Bethesda Outreach Ministries in Gainesville. There will be performances by Dancing with a Purpose, Divine Destiny, Eddie Durant, Gospel Tears of Wonder, Reonshay Hayes, Lajemma Courtney, Minister Sheldon & Co. and others.

New location

The Voice of Truth Ministries has a new location.

The church now will have services at 11 a.m. on Sundays at Caring and Sharing Learning School at 1951 SE 4th St.

Appreciation celebration

Fountain of Life Church of God in Christ will host an Appreciation Celebration for its pastor, Superintendent Dr. Percy C. Days Jr.

It will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the church at 928 SE Williston Road.

The special guests will include the Campbell Sisters, Tayana Washington & New Vision and churches from surrounding areas.

Family, friends

Bethel Christian Church will host its annual Family & Friends Day service.

Fellowship Weekend

Paradise United Methodist Church will celebrate its Fellowship Weekend.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday at the church at 14889 NW 135th Terrace in Alachua.

The services and speakers will be: Saturday, "An Evening at the Cafe — The Gospel Through Jazz," a ticket-only event featuring recording artist Phillip Thomas, saxophonist Alvin Johnson, trumpeter Lenard Perry and others, and Sunday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Hopewell Baptist Church will honor its leaders, the Rev. Russell Sebree and First Lady Greta Sebree, for 10 years of service to the church.

Greater Bell United Methodist Church will host a Pastor's Appreciation service for its pastor, the Rev. Mary Jackson.

Mount Zion AME Church will host its Fall Festival.

It will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the church at 7220 SE 225th Terrace in Hawthorne.

Refreshing revival

Heaven Bound Outreach Ministries will host "A Time of Refreshing Revival."

Services will be held at 7 p.m. through Friday at the church at N. State Road 121 and NW 234th Ave. in LaCrosse.

The speaker will be Prophetess Brenda Bynes, pastor of Cathedral of Life Ministry in Orlando.
