Man accused of having sex with 15-year-old

Deputies arrested a man Sunday morning in High Springs after they say he had sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Kevin Robert Morley, 30, is homeless and was staying at the victim's house because he was working with another family member, according to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office. The victim told police Morley had sexual intercourse with her three times in the past two weeks, the report said.
Deputies said the victim told them all of the incidents occurred on the living room couch.
Morley told deputies the victim was groping him and trying to kiss him and that she told him she would leave him alone if he would just kiss her, according to the report. He was asked to provide a voluntary DNA sample but he then asked for legal counsel. and the interview was stopped, the report said.
Morley was charged with a felony count of lewd and lascivious behavior involving a victim between the ages of 12 and 16. He was being held Monday at the Alachua County jail in lieu of $250,000 bond.
