Praise service

New Macedonia Baptist Church will host a praise event.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth Worship and Praise Temple will host its annual Pioneer's Day and Fifth Healing services.

Obamacare

The Bethel Christian Church Team Freedom will continue its free educational presentation on the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

The last presentation will take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel Conference Room at 3700 SW 42nd St. in Gainesville.

The sessions will teach residents how to navigate the marketplace and find out the amount of federal subsidies they are eligible to receive.
