Brad and Danielle Gamble take entertaining very seriously. Themed parties are the norm for this young couple — everything from University of Florida gameday barbecues in the fall to summer pool parties to martini-themed soirees in the spring — only these days they are joined by daughter, Brianna, 21 months old. Things are a bit tamer, to say the least.
“We still like to entertain but it's a little different. It starts earlier and ends earlier,” says Brad Gamble, vice president of sales and marketing for Infinite Energy.
“You could definitely say we went from throwing parties for our friends to now throwing parties for Brie and her friends,” adds wife Danielle, a stay-at-home mom, Junior League member and former social worker/case manager for Shands Hospital.
In fact, the latest addition to their family only heightens their passion for parties, since Brianna was born a day after Halloween.
“She had a Halloween party last year and we're going to continue that tradition,” Danielle says.
The good news is their 4-bedroom 4-bath house in Wilds Plantation is ideal for hosting friends and family. With more than 3,500 square feet of living space, the Tommy Waters-designed spec home (which was featured on the Junior League Tour of Kitchens in 2013) boasts amenities such as a detached mother-in-law suite, outdoor kitchen, pool with hot tub and spacious enclosed porch.
“We love to entertain, and when the weather is right, opening up the house to the outdoor area is second to none,” says Danielle, making note of the sliding glass pocket doors that seamlessly meld their indoor living area with their outdoor patio and pool.
