DISH subscribers continue to receive the local ABC affiliate WCJB TV20 and Gainesville CW as the satellite TV service negotiates retransmission fees with the stations' parent company.
Diversified Communications and DISH had said a blackout of the stations was possible starting at midnight Tuesday as they haggle over increased fees that Diversified is seeking from DISH to carry the stations.
“Due to positive progress in our discussion, WCJB and The CW will continue to be available to DISH customers currently receiving the stations,” said Carolyn Barrett, WCJB president and general manager. “We look forward to successfully concluding our negotiation.”
