‘PRAIRIE’ MOVES INDOORS:

The rescheduled “All-American Paynes Prairie Home Companion,” a local take on NPR’s famed “Prairie Home Companion,” features music, comedy and such bits as “The News from Lake Wauberg” on Thursday at the Thomas Center. Postponed from July 5 at Bo Diddley Community Plaza because of rain, the performance also features Quartermoon, Gregg Jones and the New Prairie Dogs, a group featuring such local musicians such as Cathy DeWitt and Ron Thomas, pictured, along with

Mike Boulware, Mick Marino and Rob Rothschild.

Gilberto de Paz and Tropix perform music from salsa and merengue to disco and ballads in this week’s “Free Fridays” concert at the Bo Diddley Community Plaza.
