Four little girls wearing hats and big smiles enjoyed an elegant and fun afternoon sipping tea and eating finger sandwiches and sweets at a Girls Tea Party held last Wednesday at Library Partnership.

The tea party provided the girls with an opportunity to mingle and play games, such as musical chairs, with their gift bears. Anita Jenkins, manager at Library Partnership, and Darba Owens-Simmons, library specialist at Library Partnership, offered the girls advice on tea party etiquette, types of hats they may want to wear and being courteous, kind and respectful.

They also provided stuffed bears for the girls to name, play with and take home.
