Touch of fall in the air as temperatures dip this week

Cooler temperatures and crisper air are expected to roll in this week as humidity levels drop.

Monday will be partly cloudy with patchy fog in the morning hours. A 30 percent chance of thunderstorms is predicted in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from the low-90’s to the low-70’s, according to the National Weather Service.

A 20 percent chance of storms is expected Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Highs will be in the high-80’s and lows in the low-70’s.

Temperatures will cool slightly on Thursday, with lows dropping to the high-60’s.

Weekend showers and thunderstorms will mimic early week conditions with a 20 percent chance expected in the afternoons.

Cool, crisp air should flow into the region as humidity levels are expected to drop slightly this week.
