Spirit of Faith
Spirit of Faith Christian Center will celebrate its move to its new location with several events and services.
The church, now at 5805 NW 37th St. in the Mill Run community in northwest Gainesville, will host a free Community Family Fun Day & Open House from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Featured will be bounce houses for children, food, tours of the renovated facility and a chance to meet church leaders.
On Sunday, the church will hold its first services at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. in the new location. Sunday also is National Back to Church Sunday, a movement to encourage Christians to return to their local churches and to invite their friends, co-workers and families to join them.
Later on Sunday, the church will host a concert at 6 p.m. featuring national recording artists Trent and Keisha Cory. General admission is $20 and VIP seating is $100. Tickets can be purchased at www.mysof.org.
