Q: How much does the loss to Miami disappoint you knowing Florida may not play the Hurricanes for awhile?
A: Unless I get like another 10 years of eligibility, I won't play Miami again. As a program, yeah, this is disappointing to have a bitter taste like this after all these years of playing these guys. It's a real bitter taste in your mouth.
Q: How do you move on from that?
A: We haven't had an SEC game yet. So we get a bye, and then we start our SEC schedule. There's a lot of adjustments we've got to make and a lot of corrections we've got to do.
Q: Does the bye week come at a good time?
A: I'd rather play after a loss like this. It's a frustrating loss, but it's early in the season and it's something we can bounce back from easily.
Q: Is it encouraging to know the SEC schedule is still in front of you?
A: There's not very much encouragement after a loss, but the opportunity is still there for us. As (Will) Muschamp would tell y'all, everything is still there for the taking. Atlanta, (Pasadena) California probably. We're in the SEC, so if we run the table in the SEC we have a really good chance (at a national championship).
Q: Do you think your team can run the table?
A: I'm not going to be that bold to say nobody can beat us, but if we don't beat ourselves we have a really good chance to beat a lot of teams that we play.
