About Nicki Weaver

Years in Gainesville: 17

Before that she was at Morning Meadows for 3 years and Imagine Learning for 1 year. She has made it her business to stay informed over the years and faces her job with passion and sincerity. She has also been a great support to parents in the community, using her child care experience as well as her own personal experience as a parent to help people with their little ones. As a new stay at home father, Nicki (and her husband Mike for that matter) have been there for my wife and I countless times even if just to listen and laugh about the tribulations of being a new parent, and I know I'm not the only one that her family has supported. At 11 years old, her son Lincoln is a great kid and even though there is a big age difference between us (I'm 37), he is someone that I consider a friend- a testament to the solid parenting that he has received in my eyes. He will be a great American. Not only is Nicki an outstanding teacher but she is a great member of our community; someone out there, in the trenches, working to make our world better.
