PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey left in the first quarter of the Steelers' 16-9 loss to the Titans with a right knee injury and will likely miss an extended amount of time, possibly the remainder of the season.
The extent of Pouncey's injuries were listed as a torn ACL and MCL.
Pittsburgh (0-1) managed just 195 total yards of offense and the loss of Pouncey, a UF alum, could loom large for Ben Roethlisberger and company.
Tennessee (1-0) displayed a revamped defense, sacking Roethlisberger five times Sunday.
