A 23-year-old Bronson woman was killed Saturday night in Levy County when her car struck several fence posts and she was ejected, according to a report.

Cacie-Leigh Morgan was headed east on County Road 103 near NE 30th Street around 11 p.m. at a high rate of speed, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. She went through a stop sign and missed a curve, hit the brakes and skidded on wet grass on the shoulder of the road.

He 2007 Ford Focus struck a warning sign and two large fence posts, which sent the car into the air. It hit several smaller fence posts before landing and overturning.

Morgan was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected as the car overturned and stopped 122 feet away.

She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
