A Gainesville man with three convictions for driving without a license was arrested early Tuesday morning after police stopped him on a traffic infraction and discovered he was driving again without a license.

Antonio Lynn Aikens, 22, of 6900 SW 21st Lane, had turned from Northwest 13th Street onto Northwest 45th Avenue without using a turn signal, according to a Gainesville Police report.

A police officer stopped Aikens shortly after midnight and discovered that his license has been indefinitely suspended. The records check also showed that Aikens was on probation for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Aikens was arrested on a charge of driving while his license is suspended and violation of probation. He was being held on Tuesday at the Alachua County jail on $7,500 bond.
