Dr. Hazel Williams, affectionally known as "Sis Hazel" is a corner stone in Gainesville.She is the founder of the "Angel of Mercy" ministry providing food, clothes, medical supplies, financial and spiritual comfort to anyone in need.

She has been the director of the "Home and Foreign" mission of her church(Williams Temple Church of God in Christ). She has packed many semi trailers sending supplies to Haiti, Bosnia, Honduras, Pakistan and Costa Rica. Sis Hazel has assisted St. Francis House, "Helping Hands" Clinic Funds, Good Samaritan Fellowship, Welcome Table just to name a few. She has received many awards for her service. Age has not stopped her from serving. Her motto is "Faith Knows no Defeat, I'm dedicated until death to do this wonderful work in humanities".
