Judy was born in AGH, educated in public schools, and all her years contributed to the lives of others and to making Gainesville and area a desirable and beautiful community in which to live.

Judy's relationship with others, warmth, ability as a leader and participation earned presidency of her GHS class and service club. She has organized subsequent class reunions and continues contact with her graduating class. These qualities are a natural part of Miss Locascio.

Judy supports and encourages youth, history, gardening, the arts, church and business. She reaches out to the aged and anyone to whom she can bring cheer. The varied and many clubs and volunteer services of Judy are listed.

Born and raised in Gainesville, Allstate agency owner, Judy Locascio, has spent 26 years helping protect people from life's uncertainties and helping prepare them for the future. Additionally, she has a history of giving back to the community by supporting many local organizations with volunteerism and financial resources to enable them to help others.

Judy’s Locascio’s Civic Service for 2012:

Delta Gamma Sorority- Alumni House Corporation Board Member; Directed new landscaping, improved scooter parking and the relocation of the anchor to the new front side of the house on Panhellenic Drive.

Downtown Gainesville Santa Crawl- In 2010 Judy and a friend co-created this unique holiday themed costume toy and food drive. Past events have benefited Catholic Charities and the Alachua County Food4Kids Backpack Program.

Girls Place of Alachua County- Table Captain; this April will make 10 years in a row as a Table Captain for their signature fundraiser, Hats Hearts and Handbags. Judy has been an award winning table captain and a supporter of this event since it started in 2003.

Hippodrome Theater- Performance Sponsor since 2003, Opening Night Performance Sponsor since 2005 and 2013 40th Anniversary Gala committee member and wine glass souvenir sponsor.

PACE Center for Girls- Table Captain for the “Throw a Girl a Lifeline” Luncheon;

This October will make four years as a Table Captain for this annual fundraising luncheon.

This year Judy received the Agency Hands in the Community Award by the Allstate Foundation for her commitment to helping others. With this award came a $1,000 grant each to three Gainesville organizations where Judy volunteers: the Pace Center for Girls, Inc., the Hippodrome State Theatre, Inc., and the Gainesville Friends of Jazz, Inc.

The Agency Hands in the Community Award celebrates the Allstate spirit of service and is a commitment to our communities as a natural extension of what we do every day – protecting people and making their lives more secure,” said Field Vice President Sara Crowley. “With support from The Allstate Foundation, Judy Locascio and these three organizations are making our hometowns a better place to live."
