Cooler start of week to give way to more rain

Consistent afternoon showers are expected throughout the week, but temperatures will be lower at the outset, according to the National Weather Service.

The cooler weather in the beginning of the week is expected to return to the mid-90’s by the weekend.

A 20 percent chance of storms is expected from Monday to Thursday night, with a slight increase in chances on Wednesday.

Storm chances will elevate Friday to around 40 percent and remain likely all weekend.

Temperatures with drop to nighttime lows in the high-60’s Monday and Tuesday. Both high and low temperatures are expected to rise several degrees by Thursday.
