Like many of the preseason magazines, the SEC football coaches apparently aren’t impressed with the skill players on Florida’s offense.

The coaches’ preseason All-SEC team came out Thursday, and there are zero Gator offensive skill position players on the first, second or third team. The only UF offensive player on the team is senior guard Jon Halapio, who is on the second team.

The Gators do have three first-team players — defensive tackle Dominique Easley, cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy and punter Kyle Christie.

The only other Gators on the team are cornerback Marcus Roberson on the second team and outside linebacker/defensive end Ronald Powell on the third team. Powell is on the third team at two different positions — end and linebacker.

Defending national champion Alabama leads the way with 16 players on the team.

The league coaches also picked Georgia’s Aaron Murray over Heisman Trophy-winner Johnny Manziel as the first-team quarterback.
