Former “Saturday Night Light” comedian Darrell Hammond brings his wit to a fundraising event for Meridian Behavioral Healthcare on Saturday at Santa Fe College's Fine Arts Hall. Titled “An Evening With Special Guest Speaker Darrell Hammond,” the charity event spotlights the Melbourne native who in 14 years on SNL, became known for impressions ranging from Bill Clinton and Donald Trump to Sean Connery and John Travolta.

A new season of Sandhill Stage performances at the Prairie Creek Lodge starts Saturday with a double bill featuring folk-roots sounds from Tammerlin, featuring husband-and-wife duo Arvid Smith and Lee Hunter, and Melrose singer/instrumentalist David Beede, who's known for performances on dulcimer.
