A mother, daughter and son were all arrested Sunday night after police say they got into a drunken brawl with each other outside a Gainesville bar.

Rita Lee Crawford, 53, Tabitha Page Ashby, 23, and Waylon Blankenship, 30, were outside the Gator City Pub at 1728 W University Avenue around 10 p.m. when the fight began, according to the Gainesville Police report.

The three had been “drinking large amounts of alcohol,’’ the report states.

A witness told police he saw Blankenship and Ashby battling and then Crawford, their mother, joined in and started to punch Ashby. The report noted that all three had injuries including a bloody nose, scratches, bruises and at least two bite marks.

Police said none of the three could be interviewed because of their level of intoxication and their uncooperative nature.

All three were arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple battery.
