A Lake City man who told police he was trying to get his drunken ex-girlfriend to leave his home was injured when the woman cut him in the face with a rib bone, according to a report.
The man told police at 6:30 p.m. Thursday that Jennifer Hollie of Lake City arrived at his home intoxicated and angry. She refused his repeated requests to leave, the report said.
The man said Hollie hit him with her hands and as he tried to restrain her, she grabbed a rib bone and used it to cut him under one of his eyes.
Lake City Police officers also discovered an active warrant for Hollie on a charge of trespass. She was arrested and taken to the Columbia County jail on charges of trespassing, battery, resisting arrest without violence and violation of probation. She was being held without bond on Friday.
