Anthony Moten was in and out of Florida's football recruiting class before even visiting Gainesville.
The Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas defensive tackle decommitted from UF on Saturday, putting the Gators at 10 commits for 2014.
The 6-foot-4, 292-pounder originally pledged to Florida on April 2 but began wavering in late June after UF hosted two junior college defensive tackles (Abu Lamin and DaVonte Lambert) on official visits and landed Army All-American Khairi Clark.
A desire for early playing time also caused Moten to change his mind. He has dropped the Gators from consideration and is now looking at Florida State, Miami and South Carolina.
“Florida is loaded at DT and I'm trying to get on the field,” Moten wrote in a text message to The Sun.
